LOCAL CELEBRITY WATCH AT ENRON!!!!!

WHAT WERE YOU DOING AT THE ENRON TRIAL MONDAY?????

Houston Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee made a stop at the Enron criminal trial Monday. During an afternoon break Lee found her way to a bank of microphones and t-v cameras to say she was there just as a representative of the district where Enron collapsed. She was also seen in the courtroom spending time with the Lay family. Also in the Enron overflow courtroom was a former Houston city council member. Mark Goldberg sat quietly not drawing a whole lot of attention before he got up and walked out. I didn't get a chance to talk with him so no word what he was doing there. He is an attorney so - there could be civil implications...

    Believe me Isiah if there are cameras you can expect to see attention grabbing Shelia there for her 1,000,000 tv close up.

    I suspect that she showed up today because she knew the media would be out in force due to Ken Lay's testimony. It was a guaranteed way for her to get some time in front of the cameras. And well, she's never met a camera she didn't like!

    That's fuuny....I didn't she her on T.V. today. Maybe she was just there to see the trial. If she wanted to "just be on T.V." she would have been there for the start of the trial. That was the biggest media day.

    Next time Mr. Goldberg shows up ask him why he was fired from the Galleria Area Chamber of Commerce earlier this month - just four months after taking on the job of Executive Director.
