INSITE FYI: WHAT HAPPENS TO CLOTHES NO ONE WANTS TO BUY EVEN AFTER 75% OFF!

WHERE DO YOU GET THE BIGGER DISCOUNT?

Did you ever wonder what happens to all those clothes people don't buy at stores like Macy's and Dillard's even with 75% off? I was told by a sales associate that they're boxed up and sent back to the warehouse. Then after that those clothes end up at discount stores like Steinmart, TJ Max and and Marshall's. But here's the clincher. While you can get the clothes at the originating stores for 75% off during clearance by the time they reach the discount stores their prices go back up again. I'm told they're reduced to only 40% to 50% at the discount operations. So the sales associate says the key is buying them at the Macy's or Dillard's well before the items hit the discount market. I was actually able to get pictures of the clearance items being boxed up for their journey back to the warehouse!

as a die hard Macy's and Ross shopper, i can tell you that ross will sometimes have the same items selling for more money.

The first time i noticed i was like WTF ???

if i am really luck, i will find something in my size at ross that is sold out at macy's, even though macy's is still stocking and selling the same ites.
