FEMALE FIREFIGHTERS ARE SHOCKED AT THE RACISM THEY FOUND IN THEIR STATION!
The Insite has learned there are more allegations of racism in the Houston fire department. This time two female firefighters showed up at work at Fire Station #54 only to find graffitti in the facility. Sources tell the Insite scrawled on the walls of the women's dormitory and on a bed was written the words: Nigger Lover, Die Bitch, and Die Nigger. One of the firefighters said I have never seen anything like this before. The racially destructive words were also written on the portrait of a little girl. That girl died and is the daughter of one of the female firefighters who found the racist graffitti early Tuesday morning. The suspect or suspects wrote on that deceased girl's picture die bitch die. Keep in mind the little girl is already dead. Sources tell me the female firefighters are destraught and blocking the room so no one came come in and erase the graffitti. We've also learned Houston Executive assistant chief Rick Flanagan has already started looking into the matter. In fact, he confirmed in a phone call early Tuesday morning he wanted to get to the bottom of the alleged racism. Stay tuned to the Insite and FOX 26 news for more details!
More about Station #54: Firehouse #54 was originally located at Tierwester and Lydia in 1960. When Intercontinental Airport was a dream of some land developers in 1965, and then became a reality. #54's was located in temporary wooden quarters while Intercontinental Airport was being built. Upon completion of the airport in 1969, #54's station moved into a super station on the Intercontinental Airport property. In 2003, Station 54 once again moved into a six-bay super station on the extreme northern section of the Intercontinental Airport property.

I would be realy surprised if this plays out as a racist event. I find it hard to swallow that someone would do that in this day and racialy motivated witch-hunting climate. If anything, this will prove to be a personal issue between folks that has nothing to do with black or white. But, what do I know...I'm just a silly cracker.
Remember when the black couple spray painted racist grafitti in their own home and claim ed they were being racially harrassed? I'm just sayin'...
Remember when Black folks were considered 3/5 of a man, or when they were hung from trees and mutilated, or when they were prevented from riding in the front of public buses, or when they had to drink out of their own water fountains. Or if you need something recent, everyday you can look at the comments on any news website and see the hate that still exsit in America. You see the N word used, amont other creative ways to refer to the color of a person's skin. USA1, just go on to Chron.com and check out the comments on any story concerning Obama, or criminal activity, or anything negative and you can see for your own eyes that some people still have a problem with the color of people's skin. It is sad.
To address your point, of course there are some who undercut the cause of us all living as one big happy family where the color of someones skin does not matter. There is no excuse for anyone who plays the "race" card or "gender" card or "sex" card when it does not apply. I do not support those. But if someone has been legitimately discriminated against, WE should ALL be outraged. USA1, I hope that you will support these firefighers in their effort to fight the discrimination that they percieve in the department. Now, if they are crying wolf, then obviously they should be dealt with, but until then, I think you have to take them at their word.
