FROM 45'S TO CONCERT PROGRAMS: THE INSITE'S MICHAEL JACKSON STUFF!

WHAT'S IN YOUR MICHAEL JACKSON COLLECTION?

When I told you I was a big fan of Michael Jackson I wasn't kidding around. I did a search of my house and found some of my memorabilia. It's some of the Michael Jackson stuff I have collected over the years. Keep in mind this is actually only a third of what I have. I couldn't find the rest which will likely be in the attic. But here's a look at actual 45 records from the Bad and Say Say Say era. I also have a concert booklet from the Dangerous tour, I have the plaque commemorating the multi-platinum sales of Bad. I'll have to go searching for the rest and post it when I can!

I have a Jackson Five eight track

I don't think I ever had a MJ song, not even a J-5 tune on 8-track.

I do recall hearing a few of his songs broadcast over the years.

There's no way on this earth you can convince me you haven't heard at least 5 MJ songs. Say whay you want I don't believe you. It's impossible.

Isiah,

I do remember watching the little shaver, part of the J-5, on the Ed Sullivan Show. And when Dianna Ross sang a tune with him.

As a teen, I listened to Rock, not Pop.

During his break-out years, I was working a lot, but listened to albums and cassette tapes of Rock bands.

While I lived in Fairbanks, I started to listen more to FM radio, but on AM there was conservative, local programming.

When we did get feeds from the lower 48, it was news, Liberty Lobby telling us what Jimmy Carter and Congress did to us that day, and Christian-themed programs.

I did see BEN, so I was entertained by his enormous talent.

When I returned to the continental U.S., I listened to Rock on FM and cassette tapes.

I was not interested in MTV, so I was not exposed to his music videos.

Then, in 1988 Talk radio emerged, and I seldom listened to music.

For the past several years, we have listened to satellite radio and TV along with talk radio.

I spend a lot of my spare time doing things now where I can stream audio or play a CD of what I prefer to listen to. My wife has has I-Pod's for over five years, and there is no MJ tune in her library either.

Hey! I don't eat brussell sprouts, sourkraut, or anchovies. So what!
