WE'VE LOST EVERYTHING PLEASE HELP US!I was driving along the feeder road on the North Freeway when I noticed an entire family out pleading for help. It was a woman, two sons and a little girl. They were in the 90 degree temperatures with signs. Their poster boards read 'please help, we're living on the streets after losing our home.' Usually, I wouldn't take a second look at a scene like this. But I saw those kids with sweat rolling down their faces. They looked tired and hungry if that facial expression is possible. I was in a far lane and unable to get a better shot from the Insite cam. However, I was able to get a crude pic at best. It was a heartbreaking situation. Then I started to wonder if this was a scam. Was this Mother using her children to get weekend drinking money or worst drug money? Have you seen them on 45 near Airline? And what do you think, is it genuine despair or a scam? The Insite would like to hear from you!

No, I haven't seen this family, but wow ...a family?! That is heartbreaking and sad. I generally don't give money on the streets, but probably would have in this instance.
This is not this family first time on the corner. They been out on the corner for at least 3 yrs they take breaks for 4-5- mos or go somewhere else I live on the northside it's nothing new.
What I did see was you Ike!! Rolling up in the back of your limo, shoes off and feet kicked up, sipping on some champagne and snapping photos!!
It was nice of you to give them a little of your "Grey Poupon". Not sure they knew what to do with it though.
Next time donate to them some of that Polo you are always sporting
Also, many people do not know that when children are out begging with adults on street corners, that is not allowed. Law Enforcement will need to be notified so Family Welfare can get involved.
Whenever I have offered food or a ride to the shelter from any homeless person, they have turned me down. They only want money!! I'm perplexed by that.
If she's using kids in this heat to panhandle has anyone bothered to call CPS to investigate the welfare of the children?
What is Obama's take on this story? Isnt he the great savior these folks have been waiting for?

I have seen her. But not only does she need her butt kicked but all of these beggar and candy pimps that are grooming the children to become nothing more than hustlers....
