THE BISHOP HAS LEFT THE BUILDING AND SO HAS THE CHURCH!

ST. AGNES BAPTIST CHURCH'S FUTURE IS CLOUDED WITH FINANCIAL PROBLEMS!

FOX 26 News and The Insite found private security guards planted around St. Agnes Missionary Baptist Church on Scott street Wednesday afternoon.

Those guards say they have been told by the attorney and bank not to allow anyone to remove any furniture or equipment from the premises.

Harris County records show Herring foreclosed on St. Agnes back in 2008, but there was a rental agreement between the church and the bank.

But now, members of the congregation say they were told the church, which began in 1967, is shutting down.

The Insite received a call from Houston attorney Dwight Jefferson. He says the church is closed for now and the congregation will likely move to Bishop Gene A. Moore's Pearland church. Jefferson says the church and bank are in negotiations for the future of the building.

But for now the Bishop and the congregation are gone. The attorney also says church workers have been given approval by the bank to remove certain personal items and belongings from the building. Just to make sure that's all they take security guards outside the building are also video taping all activities.

The Insite and FOX 26 will keep you updated on this mega church!

  3. Please follow-up on this. This pastor has been abusing his authority for a long time. He is described by some as the "Jim Jones" of the Christian world. It didn't surprise me that he didn't speak to the media because he answers to no one, not even his own members. He does not have a board that holds him accountable for his actions. He has been sleeping around with women and brainwashing the people for a long time. The church is about him, and if a member is bold enough to address his arrogance, he blackballs them, turning the other members against them. This is the most "cultish" church I have ever seen.

Mr. Carey, check into this. I am not sure the service at the Pearland location happened as planned Sunday. Some sources say that the church was not paying for that location either, and was ousted from that location. Also dig deeper into his character, and you will find that this pastor has been blaming other members for misappropriation of funds for the past few years.

Please Mr. Carey, look into this. There is a lot wrong at St. Agnes Church and especially with the pastor.

  4. Fellow saint or ex member of St Agnes, the words you wrote are very dangerous; regardless if they are true are not. The bible says touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. God will chastise those who are not being honest and obedient to his will and his way. You are not God, therefore you are wrong for what you have written. I encourage you to repent for these accusations!

  5. Apostle Gene A. Moore Sr. is an anointed man of God and I thank God for him. In a faith based ministry persecutions occur if you are walking according to the Word of God. Certainly, he will rise again, and when he does he will be stronger, wiser, and has perfected God's Word in its entirety. God is using him mightily by rightly dividing His Word. The Bible says, "touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm." Be very careful how you address any man of God, because you will have to deal with God. "Vengeance is mine says the Lord." He is God's man. God bless you.

GAMA Community Development Corporation with officers

Kerry Ganther and Gene A Moore Sr

Both pastors at disciples of faith Baptist church

Signed papers to purchase our rental property in Comanche TX for $65,000

Payment was to be made the day papers were signed now over 10 weeks later we have still NOT been paid and Mr Ganther and Mr Moore are in breach of contract!!

Due to the events of Mr Ganther and Mr Moore's non performance on this matter - my family is in jeopardy of being homeless. We had planned to purchase the home we are living in with proceeds from the sale of property Mr Ganther and Mr Moore signed on but with not getting pd we were not able to follow thru with purchase. And now is being sold to someone else and we have to get out! We have a contract on a new place but will not be able to take possession until we are able to make payment from the sale of our property which after 10 weeks has still not been paid for!

The property the GAMA corp was purchasing is used as a rental so we are unable to move to it at this time!

We just want pd! We have trusted they would in good faith.

Mr Ganther and Mr Moore's lack of action on this matter has caused stress, attorneys fees, moving expenses, eviction and more on our family.

Being a man of the cloth we trusted his word. All we want is paid, like he said he would. We want to move on with our lives and get this negativity out.
