AN ETHICS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED OVER ALLEGED MISLEADING YARD SIGNS!
Today Texans for Ethics and Accountability released a copy of a recently filed complaint with the Texas Ethics Committee ethics against businessman and candidate for State Representative District 146 Borris Miles for misleading the public.
Miles posted signs throughout the district leading voters to believe that he was the current office holder of that seat. Doing so is a violation of the Texas Election Code Statutes 255.005 and 255.006(b).
“Our goal is to make sure that candidates for public office follow the rules that are set forth by the Texas Ethics Commission,” said Justin Jordan, Executive Director of Texans for Ethics and Accountability. “Mr. Miles violated the law and he should be penalized accordingly."
WHY IS MR. JORDAN ATTACKING OUR COMMUNITY LEADERS AGAIN!??!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteSome folks will do anything to attain relevance. I wonder if Justin - and his buddy, Bethel Nathan, who distributed this report, are trying to set themselves up as the "go-to" Black Republicans in Harris County? Guess we should ask Roy Morales and Pam Holm!
