MILLER LITE REVEALS THE TRUTH!!!!!!!
I was at a very popular eatery in the Galleria Saturday watching the Texas vs. LSU game (way to go tigers from the fellow Louisianian) having a great time like everybody else. I made several orders from the wait staff during my time in the business. Each time I would get an order back I would pay the waitress and then leave her with a tip. After receiving my final receipt for one Miller Lite this time the waitress actually brought me a tab/receipt. When I was told the price I was actually surpised at the price. It was high for one Miller Lite. She placed the receipt down and as I was getting my cash out I took a look at the bill and noticed for the 3.75 beer I was being slapped with a 20% service charge. This despite all the tips I had been giving all day. So little did I know through out the afternoon I was not only paying my waitresses tips but I was paying this 20% service charge. What in the h---. I've heard of 15% gratuity being tacked on or even charged on the bill or given of free will by the customer but where did a "service charge" come from. Needless to say after being the victim of double dipping all night I did not leave a tip after purchasing the last Miller lite. (They're gonna cry over that 75 cents) Be careful and make sure you read the fine print on the bill at every restaurant before you give out that generous tip.
If you can pay $6 to park at CVS, then you can pay 20 percent there!
