WHO WATCHES TELEVISION ON THEIR REFRIGERATOR?
The Insite spotted a LG refrigerator at Best Buy that really stood out. The refrigerator had a HD television installed in the door. The price tag was about $4,000. It was cool to look at in the store but I was wondering just how practical it was. I hear it made it on to Oprah's favorite things list last Christmas. But who watches television on their refrigerator? It has to be just a vanity item in my opinion. Is this something you would spend $4000 on? The Insite would love to hear from you!
I would buy it if the refrigerator was positioned right in the kitchen. That is, I watch tv while drinking a glass of wine and preparing dinner. If I have to turn my head to see the tv on the refrigerator while dicing my vegatables or pototoes, the tv on the refrigerator won't work.
ReplyDeleteOn other hand, if I can dice and watch then cool. But, only if needed to purchase both a refrigerator and tv at the same time.
Oprah cooks?
ReplyDeleteIf you cooked more meals at home, you might note the utility of such a device.
ReplyDeleteSay in the morning, while cooking breakfast, you can watch Fox and Friends. In the evenings, you could be watching Fox News.
On weekends, many times there is some sporting event being broadcast.
For those who dine early, there is Oprah, but you would have to change the channel.
Did you ask the salesman if you could run the computer video to an auxillary input? Then you could read these comments in real time!
