AS OF 10:16 AM CHUCK ROSENTHAL HAS TAKEN THE STAND!

I'M NO COMPUTER EXPERT!

The Harris County District Attorney has taken the stand in his contempt hearing. Chuck Rosenthal is accused of deleting crucial emails that were subpoenaed for an ongoing civil case. Rosenthal is being questioned by Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt. Rosenthal has said he has had limited experience and use of computers. He told the judge he is no expert when it comes to using computers. Rosenthal says if he has an issue or problem with his computer he calls on his secretary and the information technology department to provide him with assistance. There have been no questions yet about him deleting up to 2500 emails in his Harris Count email account!

Update: Rosenthal acknowledge deleting at least 2500 emails from his Harris County computer...However, he tells federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt, "I didn't think I was deleting anything. I thought the system would maintain the documents....to satisfy the subpeona."

    ********ABUSE OF OFFICE*******
This is Chapter 39 of the Texas PENAL CODE.
    39.02 Abuse of Official Capacity.
    39.03 Official Oppression.
    39.06 Misuse of Official Info.
One would think that either elected official would have read them before. That's right, they are ABOVE the law. Maybe today the truth about the dirty illegalities between D.A.Rosenthal and Sheriff Thomas will be exposed.

Why is no one telling "just the facts"? Federal Judge Hoyt ORDERED Rosenthal to hand over his e-mails. Rosenthal THEN deleted them. CASE STATUS : CLOSED/CHARGES FILED. This is what should read next. How can he lie by saying he thought they were backed up? He Knowingly, Intentioally AND Recklessly Deleted them defying a Federal Judge.

No, dumbass, he didn't. All e-mails are maintained on the server when they are deleted from someone's mailbox. The questions needs to be directed to the I.T. guy...why were they deleted off of the server? Know what you are talking about first, idiot.

Since the last moran obviously works for the low life... you should ask him why he did this. Moran, the IT guy did not do this with out this dictators orders. Guess you should have listened to what Judge Hoyt told future inmate Rosenthal.......Chow Time Chuck!

  5. Hey guys,

Just FYI, the county's IT guy said emails can be retained in the system even after deletion for a few days...He didn't say they would remain in the system forever. He said under oath in court your chances are better of recovering the electronic transmissions if it's done within ten days. He said after that they could disappear forever. The problem was the I.T. guys from the DA's office tried to retrieve the emails some 16 days after Rosenthal admitted to deleting them. They were able to recover some - around 1500 but 2500 of the emails were lost forever according to court testimony. Just two cents from the Insite!
