In 1995, and as the founders of I'm Ready Productions Inc. , Johnson and Guidry created an urban theater company specializing in a "no fear, outside-the-box approach to bringing the best of entertainment to the stage." With more than 1.5 million people (and counting) having seen their productions, the Houston-based minority-owned outfit is quickly proving it's a force to be reckoned with. Their shows have featured such stars as Vivica A. Fox, Brian McKnight, Billy Dee Williams, Shirley Murdock, Leon and Boris Kodjoe.
