IS ONE MAN GETTING PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT?
The Insite has received call after call from prominent Houstonians who have one simple question: What is the Harris County District Attorney's Office thinking? This comes after former Houston Congressman Craig Washington was indicted for shooting his gun earlier this year at someone who allegedly tried to break into his office. The bullet hit a car. Now, those who wished to remain anonymous say the key point is Washington didn't actually shoot anyone. They compare the local attorney's situation to that of Harris County resident Joe Horn. You may remember he shot and killed two suspects who allegedly broke into his neighbor's home. But so far and months later Horn's case has yet to go before a Harris County grand jury. Some say this current situation smacks of racism. The Black man indicted in less than 4 months while the White man's case seems to just linger on with no action. How do you feel about the comparison and is it a fair comparison. The Insite would love to hear your opinion about the indictment!
Horn’s a better shooter, no racism there.
ReplyDeleteThe sentiments at the District Attorney's Office is to indict any black man who has a gun. Why do you thank that they indicted Craig Washington and Borris Miles? These are 2 brothers that own guns.
ReplyDeleteHere we go again! Someone is always crying racism. Ever think that the Horn case is a little more complicated. Maybe they want to do a thorough job. Why don't people ever holler and scream when the tables are turned. Say like the situation of Don Imus and Pastor Wright. Imus used three words that are not racist. "Knappy" is a racist word, "headed" isn't a racist word, and "hoe(s)" isn's racist. Yet Imus was crucified to the point where he was fired. Wright on the other hand has singled out the white race, yet to call him racist would be........well racist according to some. Puhhhhhhhh-lease.....quit the finger pointing and look in the mirror.
ReplyDeletethe more things change...the more things stay the same.
ReplyDeleteuntil further notice, the harris county d.a.'s office will continue to unjustly indict black men.
the attitudes will change in november, regardless of who is elected.
WHAT'S COMPLICATED ABOUT HORN'S CASE. HIS ENTIRE SITUATION WERE RECORDED. THERE IS NOTHING TO INVESTIGATE. HORN STATED WHERE THE SUSPECT'S WERE AND WHERE THEY WERE RUNNING, AND THEY WERE NOT HEADED TO HIS HOUSE. IT IS RACISM ONCE AGAIN FROM THE DA'S OFFICE. I AM JEWISH AND HAVE OBSERVE THE COURT SYSTEM ON PUNISHMENT AND THE DA'S PLEA BARGAIN WITH ALL RACES. THE DA ASK FOR THE MAXIMUN WHEN IT COME TO AFRICAN AMERICAN.IT IS A PATTERN OF HARSH PUNISHMENT WHEN AFRICAN AMERICAN ARE SENTENCE COMPARE TO OTHER RACE OF PEOPLE. THEY ALSO MOVE SWIFT TO INDICT AFRICAN AMERICAN'S. DON'T SPEAK WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW. RACISM WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN AT THE DA'S OFFICE UNTILL THEY RID THEMSELVES OF PEOPLE LIKE SEIGLER AND OTHERS WITH HER MENTALITY. ROSEMTHAL CLONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Iinsite should know the answer to this...the results of testing are still uncomplete in the Joe Horn case. A simple Google search would confirm this.
ReplyDeleteNow what do these two cases have in common? Nothing. So why are they being compared?
Maybe one of the complainants
ReplyDelete(Evan McAnulty) is a relative of an employee at the DA's Office.
Isn't Marie McAnulty who prosecuted P.Slade, P.Wooten and C.Bradford still works for the DA's Office.
Hey, what's up with that?
Joe Horn: Obeyed the law.
ReplyDeleteCraig Washington: Broke the law.
That is the difference. The laws on this are nuanced and a careful reading will illuminate the differences in these cases. (google "Texas Penal Code" and read it for yourself.
The Confederacy is alive and well at the Harris County Courthouse.

ReplyDeleteWe don't you write about this???

Pat Buchanan's A Brief for Whitey
1) joe horn should sign with the rockets cause he's the only one that can shoot around here.
ReplyDelete2) see #1
3) yeah, its a DOUBLE STANDARD. a LOT of that going on around here. Mr. Washington is a good man.
4) I just saw joe horn in Grand theft auto 4.
What is the law? Because a Hispanic man also shoot and killed a man in his home and he was also charged, it seems to change at any given moment.
