I'VE GOT TO FIND THOSE DANG DOCUMENTS!
It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at the FOX 26 studios. I had plans to do a story on a local issue that I'd received some important documentation on. When I searched my messy desk I couldn't find these documents. After jogging my memory I realized after getting out of the news unit on Tuesday I threw the papers away in the outside trash can. I had a small panic attack. So like any good reporter I decided to track down my papers. I went outside of FOX and started digging in the trash. My co-worker Melinda Spaulding sent fellow FOX'er Brian Willery outside with a camera to catch me digging into the big dumpster. Boy, was that gross. I never did find the paperwork but I did find a mid-morning snack. Eventually, I decided to call my source and that person dropped the documents off again. If I would've known that I wouldn't have gone dumpster diving in the first place. But this shows my dedication to getting the story or was I just looking for snacks and lunch in the big bin? Just a day in the life of the Insite!
