WE WANT BETTER OR EQUAL PAY NOW!!!!!
Dozens of Harris county deputies from various agencies were out picketing the Harris County commissioners. The deputies are complaining about unfair pay. They say all they received last year was a 5% payraise while they claim commissioners and other county directors pocketed a 24% annual increase. Deputies from Harris County Sheriff's office and various deputy constables took part in the Tuesday morning protest. The deputies would like to see parity pay with Houston Police Officers. it's about time deputies get some support in Harris County. HPD cops get all of the raises and praise while deputies are overlooked. Commissioners should come to their senses before we get blue flu
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY suport them. One of them is my baby's daddy! I need more child support. Seriously, they deserve more pay and better working conditions. They're working around the clock because they can't get people to come on board. Once you find out the other agencies pay much more, why go to the Sheriff's Department?
