EVEN THE AFRO SHEEN DIDN'T HAVE A SECURITY DEVICE!!!!!
You guys have probably read the same internet rumor that I have about CVS pharmacy. The rumor circulating is that CVS is profiling African Americans by placing special security devices on their black hair care products. The person who wrote the email that's spreading like wild fire. The Insite has received 5 in the last week from concerned friends. So I decided to launch my own undercover investigation. So posing as a customer I went into the CVS in The Woodlands. I went to aisle 2 and I snapped the picture you see above. There were no security devices on the African American hair care products. Even the Afro Sheen was sitting completely in the open without any secret tabs attached to the bottom. So this is my conclusion to the CVS rumor at least in the Woodlands - DEBUNKED...Not true at that store. I suggest you check your neighborhood store and be skeptical when you get letters in your email. The Insite at work for you!!!!!
thanks for the Randy Wallace type investigation Ike.
ReplyDeleteThese emails are pretty common. I remember a muslim girl showing me an email about how Coke was bankrolling Israel and that all Muslims should boycott them. They even cited CNN as a source. First off, who cares if Coke wants to bankroll Israel, and second off it was bogus. But lots of Muslim's still won't drink Coke because of the friggin email.
ReplyDeleteI love Coke- it's the real Thing!
MF
do you wear products?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they had black hair care in the Woodlands...
ReplyDeleteD'art must have ordered them.

ReplyDeleteAlot of stores place the security device inside the package ie; cd, dvd's...I'm sure if you would have picked up on a item that alarm would have sounded once you left the building..Do some real work and go deep behind the scenes like getting caught and going to jail..That would be a story
to that last "anoymous" blogger - YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
