A. HALL - SOME OLD FASHIONED TEXAS JUSTICE????
Mayor Bill White's Chief Administrative Officer and former Houston City Attorney Anthony Hall almost found himself dispensing justice Thursday. The Insite has learned the no nonsense attorney was called to sit on a jury Thursday at the Harris County Criminal court. According to the Mayor's office Hall was one of 65 panelists selected to serve on a criminal trial in Houston. Just as the Mayor's Chief was prepared to sit on the jury - the suspect hashed out a deal with prosecutors. And that was that. Hall and his fellow potential jurors were dismissed and went on their way. This time he was not able to dispense some old fashioned Texas Justice.
