BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK!!!!!

THE DOCTOR HAS LOST A PATIENT: THE INSITE'S SHOES!!!!!

You'd think it'd be simple. Drop a pair of shoes off for repair or order some flowers to be delivered. It wasn't so simple for the Insite. Let's first start Thursday when I tried to have some flowers delivered. I went to the flower district in Houston on Fannin. I paid for the flowers and the delivery after the price was quoted to me by the sales clerk. Three hours later after I was promised the flowers would be delivered I get a call from the clerk who says I was under charged for the delivery and I needed to pay a whopping $10 bucks more. I said no way. So the clerk said since they quoted me the price they would deliver. Well, minutes later I get another call from the clerk who's rambling on about how they're now doing me a favor. So I demand a refund and the person I was sending the flowers never got them. That sucked. Okay, let's move on to Friday. I take a pair of shoes to The Shoe Hospital on Kirby and Bissonet to get them repaired. I was told by a clerk it would be ready that afternoon at 4:30 pm. I get there around 5pm and my shoes are no where to be found at the shoe hospital. In other words, the doctor has lost a patient. It's Saturday morning and I still haven't received a call from the nonchalant staff at the Shoe Hospital. Needless to say, I won't be going back to either place. What ever happened to good wholesome customer service????

Sadly, good customer service is a rare thing these days. You'd think they would do everything within their power to keep a customer coming back, but it's just not the case any more.

Regarding the shoes, call the corporate office. I'd bet money you'll get a quick response, especially if you happen to mention what you do for a living. :-)

I've been to that Shoe Hospital and there service is horrible if you're not white and rich from river oaks. But I thought with you being high profile they would show you better service than that. I agree with serena...you should write the corporate office. Too bad you can't do a story on yourself.

The question is... are the shoes black or white, or brown? White shoes never get lost because they really stand out. Buit then they never get repaired at the shoe hospital because they are usually sneakers or really tacky.
