CAJUN AND CREOLE COOKING FOR THE LOUISIANA IN YOU!

The Insite was invited by Coozan's restaurant for their media and Essence fest day. They provided free food samples for members of each group. Boudin balls, crawfish etouffe', gumbo, and a variety of wings. The food was great. I'm told the restaurant opened during Superbowl weekend and has enjoyed success since. At Thursday's event was FOX 26 Chief Photojournalist Ray Williams, The Insite, Millet Scott and a list of others. If you have a chance to stop by make sure you do so. And you know how cheap The Insite can be so I want to let you know the prices were very affordable. The eatery is located on Kirby just across from Reliant stadium. The owners are from Louisiana. Good Luck Coozan's...

Where is this place located. It appears to be the former Cayennes Hot Wing place on Kirby, which means it hasn't enjoyed much success since they have had to change the name. I hope the food has gotten better since the Cayenne's days. However, a great concept with good cold beer and good daquiris.
