DID PETA GO TOO FAR WITH HOUSTON'S BEYONCE?

THEY REALLY WENT AFTER BEYONCE' AND NOW IT'S ON TAPE!

Apparently, the animal rights and anti-fur group tricked Beyonce' into getting her undivided attention. The superstar singer thought she was inviting 2 fans out to dinner in New York city. She was actually in the company of two PETA (People for the ethical treatment for animals) activists. During the dinner Beyonce was grilled about wearing fur. Poor Beyonce just sat there with her mouth open and looking stunned. Her mother, Tina Knowles, then asked the PETA activists to leave. The group has been after Beyonce' and her family's new clothing line 'The House of Dereon' for their heavy use of animal fur. PETA claims they have tried to reach Beyonce several times but they were ignored. So the group says this was the only way to get to the singer. They were even able to show Beyonce' a tape of animals being tortured to make fur. The actual video of the confrontation is making its way around the web. The Insite's question is did PETA go too far or should Beyonce' get rid of the fur?

Why didn't they just splash some blood on her. It would've been easier than just sitting their listening to a bunch of dumb ass tree huggers.

The folk from PETA are slime. They should go through official channels to talk to Beyonce' instead of a crass ambush.

Although I personally would not wear a real fur coat, as it really is amazing how many animals are killed to make a single coat, I absolutely LOATHE Peta for their tactics.

I suppose Beyonce and her family handled the situation properly, but it does make me wonder. During the height of their "throwing red paint and flour on people or just ambushing them" campaign, did anyone notice they never did that to any of the high profile rappers or others in the Hip Hop community? Coincidence? I think not. I wonder if they would have approached that table if Beyonce was their with Jay-Z and a "posse"? Yeah, they didn't think twice about throwing red paint on Joan Rivers on a New York street, but I wonder if they ever considered doing that to P.Diddy or LL Cool J, or Foxy Brown? Hmmmmm. Just a observation.

Yes Peta went too far. Peta is not unlike fringe belief groups like the Westboro Baptist Church or abortion clinic bombers. They are not anywhere close to the pulse of society. Better yet, I don't like wearing fur, but the actions of Peta make me WANAT to buy some just to spite them. Good job Peta!

Paul McCartney is a great musician, so I would ask him about music or performing, not about what I should eat. J Phoenix is an ex junkie, and a borderline actor so I might ask him about those things, not about what i should wear. Alicia Silverstone? It is laughable that she would be used to convince a person to put animals in the same plane as humans. Earth to Anne Marie...." Clueless was a 90's fad." She is not relevent. oh wait... what does Vanilla Ice think about eating meat?
