FLOODING HITS THE BAYOU CITY MONDAY MORNING!

REMINDERS OF ALLISON: HIGH WATER IN HOUSTON!

After a substantial amount of down pour overnight Houstonians woke up to some major flooding around the city Monday morning. Several school districts, government agencies and private businesses remained closed after highways and roads became flooded. Mayor Bill White is surveying the city in HPD's helicopter to determine what needs to be done. The Insite drove to work along I-45 and found a lot of flooding in the pictures you see above. So if you're out and about make sure you be careful.

The flooding was an unfortunate situation but, because of hurricane Katrina; a lot of people will be better prepared for whatever.
