IS QUANELL X WORKING WITH THE HOUSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT AGAIN?

HPD SAYS ONE THING WHILE HE SAYS ANOTHER?

Community Activist and new Black Panther Party leader Quanell X turned over his 23rd wanted suspect to the Houston police department on Tuesday. This suspect, Elliot Guerrera, was wanted for attempted murder of a Houston Police officer. Guerrera was rolled in to HPD in a wheelchair because the suspect was apparently shot by a cop while fleeing the scene last week. But the bigger question is, why was Quanell X facilitating this surrender at HPD. Wasn't it just a year ago when the department said they wouldn't work with or make special arrangements with Quanell X after the Derrick Forney incident. Forney was also wanted for shooting a Houston cop and Quanell says while he was turning in the suspect to the police department he was stopped and arrested and charged with a crime himself. The department went on record saying they had no agreement with X and they weren't going to work with him in the future. Fast forward a year later - X says Elliot Guerrera was his 3rd suspect he's helped surrender to HPD since the Forney incident. And Quanell X says he had an agreement with the police department to turn in the wanted man. HPD spokesperson Alvin Wright initially said he would get The Insite an answer to the question if Quanell had an agreement with the department. Then Wright in the same call fired off the cuff saying "anyone can turn in a suspect". But Wright went on to say Quanell had no agreement with HPD to turn Guerrera or any other suspects. Quanell maintains he had an agreement. Who do you believe in this matter?

Quanell is a hustler like Jesse and Al. Who do you think gets the "reward money" when he turn a person in? And it's usually a nice chunk of change.

Don't get it twisted Ike, X does it for the $$,$$$!

As well-spoken as Quanell usually is, he sure spouts some stuff that makes NO sense!

"If a cat gives birth to kittens in an oven, that still don't make them biscuits"?!?!?!?

    I mean, what the heck?!?

I know that Quanell does some good deeds, but I get a really bad vibe about the guy, for some reason. Maybe that's because I know he turns in these felons just for the reward money.

What really matters is that he can take the felons off the streets. A job HPD has failed to do. Wouldn't you agree at least with that.

HPD has taken more than 23 felons off of the streets, they probably do that every week. Also, HPD is not a racist black organization like The Black Panthers (new), so I do not agree with anonymous.

Who cares how they are caught or who turns them in, as long as they are off our streets!

Bro. Quanell is performing a service to the community and should be paid as do the police, judges, lawyers, DA...
