If by chance you haven't picked up the May/June issue of Onyx magazine you may want to get it before they're all gone. Page 22 kicks off an interesting article about Insite co-worker Jose' Grinan. The article chronicles his life from the military to sitting on the anchor desk at KRIV-TV. Jose talks about his upbringing in Florida to the complex issue of representing two ethnic groups in the public eye. Go pick up your copy and check out Mr. G.Q.
what are his two ethnicities? I don't get it. Please explain.
ReplyDeleteJose is the man. And he's african american and cuban. answered your question?
ReplyDeleteBig Jose fan here. There is something very calming and easy going about him.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. is the only country that calls black people Afircan American- and that is really lame. Not all black people are African nor are they American yet we still have the stupid name. Jose is just a nice looking American of Cuban heritage to me.
ReplyDeleteI just now saw this, I LOVE Jose, he's my favorite news anchor in Houston! Luckily I work in a place where it's easy to find Onxy magazine! I will have to check out the latest copy.
