THE EDITOR OF ESSENCE VISITS THE INSITE!!!!
Nationally known Essence Magazine editor Susan Taylor was in Houston Monday. The Insite had a chance to meet the head of the african american geared magazine. She was really nice. Taylor was in town to publicize the Essence Festival which will kick off in July here in the Bayou City. The fest is several days of top R&B acts along with various workshops. Houston became the site of Essence by default. The big event is typically held in New Orleans every year where the Insite has had the privilege to attend. But because of the devestation caused by hurricane Katrina, the event moved here. Keep reading the Insite for more details. And click the pictures to enlarge!!!!

Oops, my bad about the age thing. She is not "well into her 60's" as I stated earlier. She just turned 60 this year.

this woman is like the most incredible person i've come in contact with. her personality and words are refreshing.

And what kind of contact, because when I see a person I don't usually say we were in contact, like an astronaught is in contact with Earth or something.
