ACCUSED OF GOING TOO FAR WITH STUDENTS!A second charge of sexual abuse of a child was levied against a Spring ISD high school teacher after officials say a second student relationship came to light after the first was revealed.
Westfield High School teacher Shannon Hrozek, 42, made her first appearance Thursday after she was charged with sexual abuse of a child in January. It was then when officials determined Hrozek engaged in sexual activity with another student.
Court documents released in January say Hrozek was caught performing oral sex on a 16-year-old. The student told officials Hrozek asked him to come to her classroom after school Jan. 7, where she pursued the child and was caught by a janitor and assistant principal performing oral sex on him.
Court records go on to say a janitor saw Hrozek and the student in the room with the lights out, and an assistant principal caught the two in the act after opening the classroom door with a master key.
However, Hrozek's bond has been reduced to $20,000. She posted bond Thursday.
Hrozek's next court date is schedule for May 7.
