The Insite had the rare opportunity to see a hip hop legend at work. On Thursday night I dropped into 'The Studio" in southeast Houston. It's where rapper Bun B was putting the finishing touches
on his latest mix tape. He's preparing to release the collage of musical material to the public for free. But it won't be released just anywhere. It's being dropped at two of the biggest events of the year. Bun says the CD will hit the streets during the NBA All Star Week and the Super Bowl. The UGK member will likely be on the ground in Dallas and Miami when his latest creation is handed out to the public. He says there are already 27 tracks and he's considering at least 30. And as a joke Bun B let his producer hear a beat created from the American Idol appearance of 'Pants on the Ground." International Red went wild. He told Bun to add that to the mix tape. At last check Bun was getting clearance from the producer so 'Pants to the Ground' may be one of the tracks. Keep listening for that Bun B mix tape. It should be in a CD player and Ipod near you in at least a week!
HEARD IT THIS MORNING.....IT JAMS! LOL
