METREAUX has asked for numerous TXOAG letter opinions allowing them to hide public records from the citizens, and, has filed several lawsuits against the TXOAG to keep stray current damage report records from being released to the public.
I loved the one reason "Mr. Bazan has been known to distribute these [PUBLIC] records to the press..."
Isiah, We've been telling you that METRO is dirty for a while now. They have repeatedly refused to release documents, claiming documents did not exist when it was known and provable that they did in fact exist. This has been happening for years, and Lloyd Kelley isn't the first person that this has happened to (as Tom Bazan, Neal Meyer, Barry Klein, and Paul Magaziner can all attest), and until some indictments come down and the system cleaned up (the board being made elected instead of appointed would go a long way in that regard.), it won't be the last either.
Oh, my!
