WHO'S AFRAID OF A WORLDWIDE RECALL?

PRIUS STILL ON THE ROAD IN HOUSTON!

Things appear to be business as usual at the city of Houston. There are still lots of Toyota Priuses roaming the streets despite a possible recall.

The Japanese automaker is on the verge of recalling 300,000 of the environmentally friendly cars. Cars that have been a part of the city's going green effort.

At last check a spokesperson for the city said there were no current plans underway to pull the Prius from the city's fleet. Janice Evans said to the Insite in a text last week, "not aware of any directives issued to departments today." That's all subject to change once Toyota issues a recall on the vehicle for a brake issue.

This comes only days after the foreign car maker recalled more than 4 million other vehicles for a gas pedal problem.
