BORRIS MILES CLAIMS VICTORY!

ONLY 10 PEOPLE MADE THE DIFFERENCE!

Borris Miles is now the Democratic nominee for Texas State House of Representatives District
146 after defeating rival Al Edwards by eleven votes during last week's Democratic primary. On Tuesday, the early-voting ballot board narrowed the margin by one vote after reviewing provisional and mail ballots and certified the victory to Miles on Thursday by only ten votes. The final count Miles (5,050) and Edwards (5,040).

"To all my supporters, thank you," said Miles, "and to those who did not vote for me, I hope that through hard work I can gain your support. My door is open and I look forward to getting back to work."

Miles continued by saying, "I want to thank former Representative Edwards for his service to our community. I hope to gain from his experience."

Miles has received overwhelming support from former colleagues who have welcomed him back to the House."Texas is already better off because Borris is returning to office. I look forward to working on issues important to the people of this great state," Garnet Coleman, Texas State House of Representatives, District 147.
