The new 2010 shiny black Tahoe was in the parking space of Tom Doerr. He's the Vice President of News at KRIV TV Fox 26. My boss.
I asked Tom if he had a new ride but the news executive had a much better story for the Insite. Doerr says he bought the new SUV but he was shipping it to his daughter in Florida.
The veteran of the television news industry says when he visited his daughter, who's a history teacher, he was concerned about her safety in an older model vehicle. So, being the good dad Tom went out and bought - that's right - bought his daughter this new cool ride.
Drum roll please: So, in addition to our Getting Around Town title today - Tom Doerr also gets the honor of being Insite Dad of the Week!
