I purchased and tested the new Core Internet TV Box today. If you're interested in a multimedia player avoid this device. It operates off the Android 2.2 system but comes with limited apps that would not suit your television. It also runs very slow. I attempted to update the system and it constantly showed an error message. The Android powered system and apps crashed on me several times. It will leave you very frustrated. However, what's neat about it is the full QWERTY board remote and its capability to convert and play video files. But I give the Core Internet TV Box a thumbs down. I would recommend Logitech's Google TV, Roku, or Samsung's Smart Bluray DVD players. Just fyi the box has been reduced to $99 at Fry's but it's not worth your money. I'm taking mine back Saturday morning!
