Call it a strange case but it will soon find its way before a Harris County jury.
Lisa Hansegard has filed a civil lawsuit against her former business partner James Cabella.
According to court records the two operated the strip club Baby Dolls in Houston after Hansegard's boyfriend died.
Hansegard took over the business because she was pregnant with the deceased nightclub owner's child.
Court records show Hansegard entered into an agreement with Cabella to fund and manage the Houston club when things went down hill fast.
Hansegard has since filled a lawsuit claiming she wouldn't have ever went into a business agreement with Cabella if she knew he was a former member of an organized crime family from the east coast.
She also claims the Houston businessman was moved to Texas by the federal witness protection program.
Cabella also owns and operates the adult nightclub the Penthouse Club on Winrock.
