If you're like me, you're likely irritated. Irritated at the people who lane hop and cut the line on 59 north at the spur on the southwest freeway.
The problem during rush hour has gotten so bad people have called the Houston Police Department and the agency has been responded.
Captain Carl Driskell tells the Insite enforcement efforts are underway at the 59 spur and as well as where highway 59 merge with 45 north.
Driskell says his officers issuing citations for unsafe lane change and disregard of a traffic marker to those who break into the line or skip at the spur.
He says the problem has been so bad that its actually caused road rage and collisions.
If you're caught cutting the line on the freeway while cops are out you could get a ticket with a fine up to $200!
