THIS IS WHY STORES SCRUTINIZE RETURNS!

I always wondered why Frys Electronics was so tough on the merchandise people return to their stores.  This is probably why.

While I was at the Best Buy in the Galleria area Tuesday someone apparently returned an electronic media player.

It's the device that shows your computer content on your television.

The returned box was still wrapped in plastic as if it had never been opened.

Well, once the clerks decided to double check the return staffers didn't find a media player in the box at all...they found a bible.

The Hebrew bible called the Torah.

The clerks were shocked and laughing at the same time.

To top it all the bible was even stolen.

It apparently was checked out from the Denver Public Library system and never returned.

The things people will do to get over!
