BRUTALLY BEATEN ON THE WATCH OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT!!!!

If you missed FOX 26 news Friday night, you really missed quite a story. The Insite got a tip about a young girl who was beaten up after school while I was out on another unrelated story. I was like okay...But when family members started to tell me what took place in the Fort Bend Independent School district I really thought this was a story that needs to be on television. 15 year old Brittney Coleman (pictured above with her mother Carmen Green and masked by dark shades ) got into a fight after school with a girl she had fought a month earlier. The Insite realizes kids will get into fights. But here's where the problem begins in my mind. The young girl who attended Hightower High School in FBISD was riding home on the school bus. The 15 year old female she fought before was able to walk onto Brittney's school bus even though she didn't ride on that route. When Brittney got off at her stop so did the other girl. And while Brittney was walking home she was hit in the back of the head by the other girl with a metal object. The girl also repeatedly hit the 15 year old victim in the face several times. The results are the pictures above. Brittney's mom Carmen Green wants to know why the school district didn't check to see if her daughter's attacker actually belonged on the school bus. Also, several days before the attack Brittney gave her principal an email the young suspect sent her before the attack taunting Brittney. Fort Bend school officials tell the Insite the young attacker lied to the bus driver and was able to get on the bus. We're also told the district is investigating along with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's department. In the meantime, Brittney is suffering from vision problems and has decided not to return to Hightower high school. The alleged attacker is suspended and could be criminally charged for the brutal assault.
