KEN LAY'S ATTORNEY DOESN'T MAKE IT TO COURT!!!

MIKE RAMSEY HOSPITALIZED!!!!!!

Enron founder Ken Lay's defense team was missing a key ingredient this morning as the defendants in the criminal trial were expected to kick off their case. Mike Ramsey was MIA. The Insite has been told Ramsey is in the hospital. Ill due to complications from a heart procedure he had done just a couple of weeks into Enron. The fortunate news for Lay, who's facing conspiracy and fruad charges, is his part of the case won't be presented for at least another three weeks. Jeff Skillings defense team is putting on their case first. Skilling, former CEO of Enron, is also charged with fraud and conspiracy. The government rested its case last week after 9 weeks of trial. Meanwhile, Bruce Collins from lay's defense team will act as lead attorney until Ramsey is out of the hospital.
