According to Dr. James Muntz, Mike Ramsey’s admitting physician at The Methodist Hospital in Houston: Mr. Ramsey is doing very well. Methodist physicians this morning (Friday) successfully implanted a stent in his carotid artery to open a blockage, restore blood flow to his brain and prevent a stroke. The procedure took approximately two hours and required only a tiny 3-millimeter incision in his leg. Mr. Ramsey is expected to be released tomorrow (Saturday) and make a full recovery.
