THE FEDS NEED YOUR HELP TO CATCH A WANTED MAN!The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s help in identifying the “Cue Card Robber”, whose stick up note was written on a piece of cardboard which he held up for the teller to read.
At approximately 10:10 a.m. this morning, the “Cue Card Robber” entered the Compass Bank at 204 West 19th Street in the Heights area of Houston. He approached the teller counter and took out a piece of cardboard, which he unfolded and held up to the teller. The message on the cardboard read “This is a robbery give me the money” (sic). As he held up his robbery cue card for the teller, the robber warned that he had a pistol. He then handed over a white plastic grocery bag and instructed the teller to place the money in the bag. The “Cue Card Robber” then fled the bank on foot, heading west.
The robber is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5’03”to 5’05” tall, 200-220 pounds, chubby build, with very short dark blond hair, and possibly with acne on his cheeks. He was wearing a short-sleeved blue polo shirt with thin stripes and black pants.
