DOZENS OF FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS TURN OUT FOR JUDGE HILARY GREEN!

GREEN: I TOOK AN OATH TO UPHOLD THE LAW BUT I'M NOT WITHOUT COMPASSION!

Precinct 7 Justice of the Peace Judge Hilary Green held a fundraiser Thursday night at Hermann Park and there was no shortage of supporters. It was a who's who in Houston's legal community. The Judge greeted each of her supporters as they entered the venue along with her husband and Insite reader Councilman Ronald Green. He even gave the Insite a shout out at the event. In a short speech Judge Green told her supporters, "I took an oath to uphold the law but I'm not without compassion." Her guests dined on heavy appetizers. I've always wanted to write 'heavy appetizers' and now I have. They were also treated to live music and drinks at the event. Some of the faces in the audience: Judge Richard Vara, Justice George Hanks, Judge JoAnn Delgado, Judge Eric Andell, County Commissioner El Franco Lee, Carl 'The New Hammer' Davis, Dr. William and Beverly Harmon, Lawrence Snowden, Attorney Jason Payne, Attorney Troy Pradia, Latricia Sells, Ja'nice Sparks, Ronald and Judge Hilary Green, Andrea Arceneaux, John Guess, Loicey Green (Ron's Mother), Attorney Paul Kubosh, Gene Locke, Sandra Bernard, Todd MacArthur, Amiee Bertrand, Lester Jones, Jimmy Bird, Everine Dirksz, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Sheritta Johnson and the list goes on!
