THE SELLS FAMILY TAKES LEAD IN THE MLK PARADE!

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS FROM THE MLK PARADE!


By: Latricia Sells - My daughters, Moriah, Charity and Laurryn Sells', Melik Sanchez, Mike Sanchez and myself lead the Black Heritage Martin Luther King Jr. Parade today by caring the torch.

Derek King, the nephew of Dr. Martin Luther King, was the Grand Marshall of the Parade. I have attached a photo of Moriah, Charity, Laurryn Sells with Derek King.

Some of the participants in the parade were: The Mayor, who walked the entire parade. He choose not to ride. Judge Hillary Green, City Council Member Jarvis Johnson, Constable May Walker, Jack Yates High School, Booker T. Washington High School, University of Houston, Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are among the many participants.
