YOU MAY BE WAITING QUITE A WHILE ON THIS ONE!

THE PROSECUTOR TALKS ABOUT THE BORRIS MILES CASE!

The Insite spoke to the assistant district attorney who's handling the case against State Representative Borris Miles on Wednesday. That prosecutor says he has received the complaint filed by a local businessman. However, the Harris County ADA says his investigation is in the very early stages. I asked how soon could we expect to hear something on the case and he said it could be months down the road. The prosecutor says he's been lining up interviews and his investigators are trying to determine the facts in the case. As many of you know the complaint alleges Miles brandished a gun at a 2007 Christmas party and allegedly went too far with the wife of the host with a kiss to her mouth. Miles has also been hit with a $1 million lawsuit for the alleged incident!

Interesting that we will not hear from the Asst DA on this case until after the Primary. Your article did say a couple of months. I think that the DA's office should move on this case prior to the primary election in March. Otherwise, they are hindering the views of voters. There is something definitely wrong with the system.

Looks like Borris has some inside friends at the DA's office. Again, the voters are mislead by leadership. Again, Borris has shown that he knows how to manipulate the system. What a waste of talent.

This is a good way for Republicans to embarrass Democrats by keeping a "ganster and a thug" on the ballot, then letting the facts out come November.
