The Insite went out to cover an event Houston City Councilman Peter Brown's staff billed as an evening of fun for dedicated workers. Brown treated Presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign workers to a night out at the Continental Club on Main Street Sunday night. Cover and beverage costs were covered by Brown. More than a dozen workers from Obama's nearby Houston campaign office showed up to take the city lawmaker up on his offer. They were treated to live entertainment by the Houston based band Mid-Life Crisis. The group danced from 8 until 10pm Sunday night. Many of them spent their entire Sunday working in the campaign office according to Brown staffers. The Insite ran into Kathryn Griff Townsend, Chris Cofield, Kalele 'Party King' Thumbutu, Peter Brown, Tana Johnston, Crease Henrich, and a host of others!

I like the caption at the bottom, because it might make the local and national talk show circuit like the che guerva controversy and as Obama get closer to the nomination, they're waiting for anything negative to grab onto.
