POLICE OFFICER DIES WHILE ESCORTING PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE!

CLINTON CANCELS APPEARANCE AFTER TRAGIC INCIDENT!

A police motorcycle officer died after a crash while escorting Hillary Clinton's motorcade to a campaign rally. "We are just heartsick at this loss of life in the line of duty," a subdued Clinton told reporters after the rally. The Democratic presidential candidate canceled her next appearance in Fort Worth, telling about 2,000 people who had gathered outside the Tarrant County courthouse that it would be inappropriate to campaign in the wake of the accident. Killed was 20-year Dallas police Sr. Cpl. Victor Lozada-Tirada, who had a wife and four children. "It is important that we respect and appreciate their service," she said. "I certainly am grateful for all they do for me." Police Chief David Kunkle said Clinton had called to offer her condolences to Lozada's widow and fellow officers. Lozada died after apparently crashing into a curb along a viaduct near downtown Dallas, Dallas police said. Aerial video showed wreckage scattered for several yards.

I generally do not respond to Blogs of any sort because the individuals that leave their comments tend to lose sight of the intent of the story. It is sad to know that if the was about Britney Spears, Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan this article would have had many hits. But because it was about a man that one could actually embrace as a role model no one has submitted any regrets or condolences for the family. My heart breaks for his family because he risked his life for others every day for a number of years. And to know that he was selected for such a prestiges event this tragect accident occured. The family could take some solace in the fact that he was doing something he loved. No, it will not bring him back and all they will have are memories of him. But so many hero's come to and end this way. The mark that he has left on their lives is also the mark he has left on those that were fortunate to have their paths cross. My thoughts are truly with his family and I hope that the community he lived in does not let his most treasured gifts forget that their father was more than a man enforcing the law. He was a role model for the community he protected!!!!

The loss of life of this officer struck me deeply. God bless him and his family. I hope that the Clinton camp and Obama Camp and even closer to home, the elected officials that represent us undertand that PEOPLE are involved at every level in this game of life and leadership.
This man gave his life, doing his job, protecting this candidate who wants to run our country. She and all other elected officials have to stop and recognize how serious our role is in this process. We cannot afford to be lied to or cheated or disrespected. In doing so, you as the candidate, disrespect this public servant and all others that give much for your advancement.
Thank you to the officer, may God's peace and blessings rest on your family and may all those that seek support from people like him understand what he really gave.

OF COURSE OUR CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO THE OFFICER AND HIS FAMILY. WHAT A TRAGIC LOSS. I THINK HILLARY SHOWED AMAZING GRACE AND DIGNITY BY VISITING THE OFFICERS FAMILY AT THE HOSPITAL AND CANCELLING HER SCHEDULED CAMPAIGN EVENT IN DALLAS. EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN HILLARY AND OBAMA. I WONDER IF OBAMA OR MCCAIN WOULD HAVE CANCELLED THEIR AGENDAS FOR THE DAY. WE ALL KNOW WHAT THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION IS.

We are Deeply sad for the family,

Did the Clinton Caravan stop when this happened, or is everything they are doing only after the fact. Did her personal people try to help? Did she try to help? I bet she had the best medical people with her at the time.

God bless him and his family. As a law enforcement officer myself, I know that Hillary Clinton is well known for treating her cops badly.

puidiksyMY DEEP FEELING GO OUT TO THE OFFICER KILLED, BUT DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MINUTE HILARY CLINTON GIVES A DAMN, THIS IS A TYPICAL OPPURTUNITY FOR THE DECEPTIVE FRAUD TO MAKE THE PEOPLE IN TEXAS ACTUALLY THINK SHE CARES. HILARY CARES ABOUT ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY, AND THAT IS HER SELF SERVING SELF. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS PUBLICITY STUNT ON HER PART. HILARY CLINTON COULD CARE LESS, AND SHE WILL MILK THIS AND PAT HER SELF ON THE BACK FOR POLITICAL GAIN. IF SHE WERE NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE, LETS BE SERIOUS, SHE WOULD ALREDAY BE ON HER PRIVATE JET MOVING ON...I ONLY COULD WISH IT WERE HILARY INSTEAD OF THIS LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE WHO DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY, PROTECTING HILAY CLINTON...SHE IS NOT WORTH IT FOLKS...

Some people will blame Hillary Clinton for everything. In fact they blame George Bush the same way. I wonder who they'll hate next.

what a horrible accident. however, just a few short years ago ,, our president Bush had the exact same thing happen to one of his officers and Bush was berated and called a murderer. how sophomoric, offensive, and mortifying. lets see if the same liberal children respond the same way this time.. not likely

  10. Yes, this is sad. But the real question is...is...how did he hit a short baracade and DIE? Motorcades go about 20-30 miles per hour. There's got to be more to this story. Why didn't he see the baracade? What a goofy way to die, especially for an egomaniac Clinton. She's not worth it. Poor guy. Where can I send money for his family. But...WHY didn't he see the baracade????????? There's more that we don't know. Trust me.

I work in downtown Dallas and I have been following this story since it started. This was an accident. The officer who was in the Motorcycle Division for only a month hit a curb. He was at the rear of the motorcade and Hillary didn't know about the accident until after she arrived at the Oak Cliff bank building where the rally was being held.

I respect her for cancelling the Ft. Worth rally. It is what the officer and his family deserved.

And prayers and thoughts to his family and to his Police Department family.

I have to wonder about how he managed to hit the abarrier and end up dying as well - but I sure don't blame Hillary for it! Come On!!!!
The Police Chief said "Asked if police had enough lead time to plan a safe route, Hale said, "It doesn't matter with our guys. They've been doing this so long."
Well, I'm sorry but...apparently, not long enough!!!! This should NEVER happen unless there is some unforseen situation and even then - they go pretty slowly in a motorcade. I think Hillary showed real concern and grace. How DARE anyone just assume this is a stunt of some sort? How tragic. Ultimate compassion to the family and friends of this gentleman. Hillary did the RIGHT THING - isn't that what one would want a President to do? Whay is this about her now? She wasn't in charge of the motorcade but was a passenger. Some people just haven't got a clue!

I cannot believe you people would make this about politics.

There is something seriously wrong with you if you think that Hillary, Bill, Barrack, John, or Mike would not try to help the trooper.

Honestly, villifying people that you don't agree with is not helping us or our nation.

if you look closely you can see that after the accident they removed his helmet.motorcycle riders and ems and emergency room people know that is the wrong thing to do.that probably had something to do with him dying.do not remove the helmet of an injured motorcyclist.
