DESPERATELY SEEKING MARY BENTON!
SHE WON'T WRITE, SHE WON'T CALL!
Where is Houston star reporter Mary Benton. I haven't seen her here on the Insite in quite some time. I'm concerned. Have you seen Mary Benton lately? Even her Insite card is expired!
You know, speaking of Mary Benton, I saw her reporting a few days ago and I was reminded of a point that was made on this blog a year or two ago. I have never seen Mary at the newsdesk. I find it ironic because I have never seen Dominique Sachse outside fighting Mother Nature covering a news story. It's Amazing that I recall when Dominique first started as the traffic reporter years ago, and now she is doing the evening news, yet I have never seen her covering a fire, a murder, or a chemical spill at 5:00am outside of the studio. Ok yeah, I could see that if she was a anchor in another city who tranfered to Houston for a anchor position. But if I am not mistaken KPRC is the first official TV Station she has worked.
I'm not trying to start a fight, and from what I understand Dominique Sachse is a very sweet woman. I am just saying.
By the way, is ANYONE in the Houston news scene any more articulate than Mary Benton? Good grief.
I do not know Mary personally but I am a fan and thinks she deserves to be at the desk, at least as a filler, my goodness.
I want to know why I don't have an insite card? Mary was not the first journalist in the family. I was on the high school newspaper...for at least one semester.
Mary is a class act. I just ran into her Target, as we were both combing through the toy shelves. She was shopping for her niece and nephew, I was there w/my 3 children. She is so personable and a hard working journalist.
Mary is sick and tired of your one trick pony stories on Fox 26 Noose. Leave her alone.

ReplyDeleteWe all KNOW that Dominique is running KPRC into the ground faster than you can say Bush Jr's approval ratings here in Texas.
If Ron Stone were alive today, he would be pissed at the KPRC management for running great talent away from Houston.
