DID YOUR FAVORITE RADIO STATION MAKE THE TOP TEN IN RATINGS!

THE MARCH RATINGS ARE IN!

April 23, 2008: Radio One Urban AC KMJQ-FM sits on top again in the March Portable People Meter numbers, dipping only slightly, 6.9-6.7. Clear Channel AC KODA-FM, meanwhile, surges 4.5-5.9 and bounces up from the seventh position in the February ratings to third place in March. Also moving up in March was Univision Regional Mexican KLTN, which goes 4.1-4.7 and from ninth to sixth.

On the cume side, KODA stays on top, with 1.9 million, while Cumulus Top 40 KRBE sees its cume rise from 1.4 million to 1.5 million. KMJQ also moves up nicely in cume, from 879,800 to 975,000.

  2. Im really surprised that the Conservaticve talk radio stations KTRH and 950KPRC aren't at the top of the charts.

    One thing that gets me about KTRH and KPRC is the NON STOP negative drum beat on OBAMA from EVERY show HOST from the time I get up to the last show host late at night.

    You'd think Obama is the worst person on the planet by listening to those stations talk show hosts.

    Other than me and alot of other people getting their weather and traffic, I guess alot of people here in Houston prefer listening to more upbeat stations with upbeat music whether on the way to work at work or leaving work.

    Maybe Clear Channel will get the message that maybe people are more in the center instead of labels like "liberal" or "conservative"
