THOSE MAKING THE A+ LIST FOR EDUCATION REPORTING!
The
Insite isn't jealous because I didn't make the big list. That list recognizes Houston journalists nominated for the state honor roll for excellence in education reporting. So, here goes my mean spirited post on the winners who could soon be placed on that prestigious roll. Just kidding. Several Houston journalists are being nominated for balanced reporting on the state's education system. On that list from my home base: Carolyn Mungo (Managing Editor), Andrea Mooney (FOX 26 Web Queen), and Andrea Watkins (Reporter). They all work at FOX 26 news. The nominations are revealed annually and eventually recognized by the Texas Association of School Boards. The Houston journalist were submitted to the state by officials with the Houston Independent School District. Read the proclamation or resolution below for more details and witness the absence of the Insite's name:Office of the Board of Education
