CHICO DEBARGE AND KELLY PRICE: MS. PRICE I'M SO SORRY FOR WHAT I DID!The Insite booked R&B singer Chico DeBarge to appear on the FOX web show MYFOXLIVE on Thursday. When he arrived I was called up to the front desk to bring him into the studio. When I got to the lobby of FOX 26 I ran into another celebrity. It was none other than R&B/Gospel singer Kelly Price. But I got more than I bargained for when I ran into her. She let me have it. Price said she was upset with me. I was shocked because I didn't even know she knew I existed. She went on to say she emailed me and even got online and requested that I accept her as a MYSPACE friend. Guess what? I rejected her. Here's why. I thought it was someone who was just using her image and name on MYSPACE. Ms. Price told me she hardly ever asks anyone to be her MYSPACE friend and the one times she does - I foolishly rejected her. She was trying to contact me for future stories because I was recommended to her by a friend. Then I just dropped the ball because I thought I was dealing with an impostor. Sorry Ms. Price, it will never happen again and I'm preparing to ask you to be my MYSPACE friend. Just a day in the life of The Insite!
I told her about you a while back hummm could it be my doing? I would also like to know where is the story in Toni Richard starting this new Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce. The Chronicle picked it up as well as HCN... Where is my good Insite love? (smile)

ReplyDeleteI also love Chico and the ENTIRE Debarge Family. They were such a big part of my youth. If I'm not mistaken I believe El Debarge was also a Houstonian in the early 90's. I saw him on Fox 26 a couple of weeks ago and thought something was "different" about him. I hope he is doing the right things. That family has been through so much.
Anyway, Isiah you had better accept Kelly Price as your friend!
