THE VISITOR'S CENTER IS STILL REQUIRING THE ILLEGAL MINIMUM PURCHASE!
I think I've had enough of the minimum $5.00 purchase at the City of Houston's Visitor's Center on Bagby. It's already clear by the rules of MasterCard and Visa that merchants can't require a minimum purchase of $5.00 to accept debit and credit cards. However, the sign at the Visitor's Center remains strong and defiant. I think I'm going to start a petition and send it to whomever is in charge of the store. Why would a city entity insist on breaking rules and policies of the credit card companies? Apparently, no one is interested in doing what is right for the people of Houston. How do you feel about a petition?
I am also annoyed by these minimums. You should do a story on FOX26!
ReplyDeleteCheap ass....Now-a-days what can you buy for under $5??
ReplyDeleteIsiah if you need my help let me know ok I think we can really expose these frauds..
ReplyDeleteWhat can you get under $5.00
Well, at Krogers 3 kit kats for $1.00
Houston Chronicle, Wall Street journal and USA Today all these paper together do not add up to $5.00
Bottom line. WHY DON'T MERCHANTS INSIST THAT YOU ALSO SPEND A MINIMUM OF $5.00. That rule is sooo stupid!!!
