A Galena Park ISD teacher has been suspended indefinitely after four high school students said they caught him displaying his privates in an empty classroom, school officials said.

The North Shore High School math teacher has been charged with two counts of child porn, police said. The allegations surfaced Wednesday afternoon when four students said they saw the male teacher inappropriately touching himself on the campus, school officials said.

"(Administrators) had been told by students that they say one of the male teachers sitting in his classroom behind his desk with his computer on looking at what appeared to be pornography on his computer," Pct. 3 Constable's Office Capt. Ken Jones said.

The teacher was arrested Wednesday on a traffic warrant in an unrelated incident, police said.

The teacher's name has not been disclosed, but police are still investigating, officials said.

School officials are planning to send a letter home to parents.
