INVESTIGATORS WANT TO KNOW HOW THE VICTIM DIED!More charges could be filed against three suspects who Conroe police say are connected to a body dumped Monday afternoon near a highway in Madison County.
Jonathan Lee Green, 22, Marcus Anthony Alvarez, 20 and Quan Thuy Ha, 24, have all been charged with tampering with physical evidence in connection to the death of Christoper Garcia, 18, according to a Conroe Police Department statement. One of the suspects had notified police that Garcia had died at his apartment and his body was located in Madison County.
Crime Scene Investigators and Criminal Investigators responded to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Fountain Lane and met with the caller and the other suspects, according to the official statement. At the same time, investigators traveled to Madison County, where they found Garcia's body dumped into a ravine three miles west of Interstate 45, near Highway 21.
After investigators interviewed the three suspects and a 12-year-old regarding Garcia's death and the dumping of his body, they arrested the suspects. All three were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Garcia's body has been transported to the Southeast Texas Forensic Center in Conroe, where an autopsy will be performed. More charges could be filed against the suspects once the autopsy results are completed.
