WHAT A BIG SINKHOLE IN LIBERTY COUNTY!

SO FAR NO ONE HAS BEEN INJURED!

An isolated field in Liberty County sits several feet lower after the ground caves in Wednesday and leaves a sinkhole described as "the size of two football fields."

FM 770 near the town of Daisetta has been closed to traffic because the sinkhole may creep onto the road, according to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

Daisetta, a town with a population of about 1,000, is approximately 60 miles northeast of Houston.

There were no immediate reports of anyone hurt. Officials are trying to determine what caused the sinkhole to form near the Liberty County community.
